Sustainable Living in Old Ottawa South!

The Brewer Park Community Garden is a non-profit community-based organization focused on operating a community garden open to all those who live, work, or study in Old Ottawa South and neighbouring areas.

We are committed to providing a growing space for individuals, families, and the local community, including a children's garden, projects of an educational nature, and a space to grow food for those in need based on sustainable organic gardening practices, using no chemical fertilizers or pesticides.

Mark your calendars to join our monthly "Sunday Garden Gather"!

Our Garden Gathers start onsite in May and take place monthly (on Sundays) through October. They're your chance to get to know your way around the garden and its features, to meet other gardeners, and to put in your annual five volunteer hours to keep our garden fresh and healthy, whether it's pitching in with maintenance, mowing, weeding, or one of many other helpful tasks. Plus, each Garden Gather will feature a potluck and lawn games!

But first:

Spring Meeting  April 27, 2025, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Brewer Pool Small Hall B

Our spring all-members meeting is your introduction to the new season. Meet other gardeners, review garden Dos and Don'ts, meet your Coordinating Committee, and tour the garden if weather and time permit.
